I had a good stay at Cocts Akihabara. The staff were welcoming and made me feel right at home. The overall vibe was cozy, and the facilities were modern and well-kept. I enjoyed using the kitchen, which had everything needed for meal prep, and the lounge area was perfect for relaxing after a long day. I particularly loved my room with the balcony, which was a nice touch for morning coffee.
N/A 😔.

The inviting atmosphere and modern design made it a pleasure to return each day. I loved the unique café lounge and the family room, which was perfect for our group. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the free coffee and donuts were a fantastic bonus. Plus, the location was just a short walk from the train station.

The location of the hotel is very convenient for exploring the city, especially the Ueno and Asakusa areas. the staff are friendly and the luggage storage facility is useful. the dorm rooms are clean, and the safety deposit lockers are spacious enough for medium-sized bags.
The noise level in the dorm rooms can be very disturbing, especially when guests are using the locks on the doors or snoring in narrow capsules.

Great value for money, good location, and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful. I particularly appreciated being able to store my luggage on the check-in and check-out day, making it easier to explore the city without having to cart my bags around.
The dorm rooms were a bit noisy at night, with some guests being louder than others. The lockers were also quite loud when being opened and closed, which made it difficult to sleep if someone was using them.

The bathrooms were always sparkling clean, and the staff made sure they were shining! The shower cabins were super comfy, and the toilets were always clean. The staff spoke fantastic English, and they were incredibly kind and understanding, especially when we almost missed check-in. The beds were big and comfy, and the A/C worked perfectly. We even got free donuts as a bonus! The location of the hostel was great, tucked away in a quiet alley but still only a quick walk to the train station. highly recommend this place for a fantastic stay!

The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and they offered luggage storage on both the check-in and check-out days which was very convenient. the room was modern and clean, with a comfortable mattress and a useful privacy curtain. the location was within walking distance of a popular neighborhood and the nearest station was not too far away.
There was no social area to gather and meet each other, and the lounge area was part of a restaurant/bar. the light in the pod bunk was very bright and there wasn't an option to adjust the brightness.

Great location near popular attractions, with a restaurant and Wi-Fi. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially Akino. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.
Oh, just everything else. Dirty room, frozen breakfast, smelly capsules, shared showers, and an A/C that barely worked.

The staff at Cocts Akihabara were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. They made me feel welcome and were knowledgeable about the area. The dorm room had spacious lockers to store my backpack and valuables securely. The capsule-style beds with privacy curtains provided a comfortable and private sleeping space. The bathrooms and shower rooms were well-maintained and clean. The location was excellent, with easy access to major train stations and popular areas like Akihabara, Ueno, and Asakusa. my experience as a first-time backpacker and solo traveler was great.
